GJ GDIt is with great honor that we invite you to the Anand Kaaraj of
Gian Dharam Kaur Khalsa & Gurujot Singh Khalsa
Friday June 17th, 2011
EspaƱola Gurdwara - Hacienda De Guru Ram Das (directions)

We are so grateful for all the blessings being showered on us. Thank You. We feel very happy and exited to be getting married. We are really looking forward to starting this new chapter in our lives with strength and grace. Our desire is to excel so that we can serve all.

We have a special request for the sangat; we ask that you wear kirpans/swords to the Anand Karaj because it will be a big blessing to have the Guru Gobind Singh energy in that way. We feel that the steel has a magnetic field, and it will give us Chardi Kalaa. (not required, just a request if you are inspired) We are going to celebrate our spiritual union with a recitation of Sukhmani Sahib in the afternoon to start our married life with the deep vibration of peace and bliss. It would be our great pleasure if you support us by joining the recitation, or just sitting and meditating with us.

Thank you so much,
Gian Dharam Kaur and Gurujot Singh

Live Broadcasts

We know that there was very little notice for our wedding. If you can make it we would be very grateful. If you are in town but can't make it for the whole thing, please come to the Lawa from 10-11am. If you can't make it at all, please tune in below! (and don't forget Sukhmani Sahib) We are going to have a close-up wedding camera, and we have the usual SikhNet camera feed. You can actually watch them both simultaneously and just turn the sound off on one of them.

Wedding Camera Feed
up-close and personal view to see the bride and groom, musicians, and ministers

Watch live video from anandkaraj on www.justin.tv

Other info and random requests

Photos - One of my pet peeves is several people taking the same photo at the same time. We will have a professional photographer at the wedding, and we ask that you don't take the same photo as her at the same time. We will share all photos online shortly after the wedding right here on this website. They will be high resolution and downloadable. I know people like the security of knowing they will have the photo they want on their own camera, but I promise that we will post them up... trust me :)
Please don't misunderstand: We are not asking that you don't take any photos at all, we are just asking that we don't make it redundant :)

Peace Prayer Day - It is on Saturday, the day after the wedding.

Reception - It is going to be in conjunction with the Welcoming Party for International Summer Solstice participants. This party is at Guru Bachan Singh's house in La Mesilla.

Sikh Weddings - This event is open to anyone and everyone. Please feel free to invite yourself and others who may want to come. About Sikh Weddings
